Design of beam bending lab

Tasks (to design and build):

• Gauged cantilever beams and beam holders
• Strain gauge compensation units: Wheatstone bridges with automatic compensation
• Low Noise Amplifier (LNA): NF<6 dB for Freq=0..600Hz, Gain=72 dB
• Analog and Digital Low-Pass Filters going to Digital-to-Analog Converter
• Power amplifier (driving inductive load: solenoid or motor)
• (Extremely low noise power supply, ripple <0.001%)
• Digital interface (Control Unit): multiplex 110 ADCs, 11 DACs and control signals to PC
• Software for data acquisition & admin over internet
